The Chhavi occasional chair pairs a richly patterned kilim weave with a solid mango wood frame, creating a piece full of warmth and texture. Soft pinks and chocolate tones bring a gentle depth of colour, while the rough sawn finish highlights the natural character of the wood.

The kilim fabric is handwoven on a traditional loom, giving each chair its own subtle variation. Skilled makers carefully upholster the fabric by hand across the front, back and sides, ensuring a neat and enduring finish. The mango wood frame is handcrafted and assembled with care, celebrating time-honoured techniques and thoughtful construction.

Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to remove surface dust on a regular basis. Always take care not to use a rotating vacuum head as this may damage the fabric fibres. Household dust that becomes ingrained in the surface fibres of your fabric will cause areas of abrasion and reduce the lifespan of your fabric. For small spillages we recommend spot clean only. Initially lift the liquid with an absorbent tissue, then blot the area with a sponge or clean folded towel moistened in lukewarm water. To avoid any water marks, dry the area by blowing warm air from a hair dryer across the surface. Larger, more stubborn stains should be cleaned by a professional. Never place your furniture in direct sunlight as this will lead to fading. Natural dyes and yarns can be particularly vulnerable to this.
