Kesu Kilim & Iron Bench

The Kesu kilim and iron bench showcases our signature kilim weave in warm earthy tones. Its elegant frame is constructed from sturdy iron and the kilim is woven on a traditional handloom, from hemp and cotton. This piece is a modern take on a traditional ottoman and looks beautiful in a hallway or at the end of a bed. Traditional handlooms have been used for centuries and the age-old methods are passed down from generation to generation. It is impressive to watch the interlacing of the yarns – in this case cotton and hemp – known as the warp (length) and waft (width) as the weaver artfully weaves the kilim from memory.

Clean spill immediately by blotting with clean sponge or cloth. Vacuum regularly. Can be professionally cleaned. Colours may fade in direct sunlight.
