Malia Side Plate – Cream

Elegant and stylish, our Malia side plates have a sense of pared-back sophistication. Handcrafted from clay using traditional techniques, the plates have an attractive neutral hue which enhances their organic quality. The artisans shape the plate on a potter’s wheel before firing with a cream reactive glaze. This means the glaze reacts to the heat of the kiln and changes in any number of organic ways. As a result, each piece is unique so you can enjoy tableware that is truly individual. The look is completed with handpainted detailing around the rim. These collections are created by talented artisans in China. The country has a rich heritage of arts and crafts, but sadly it is now more renowned for mass production and many of its traditional skills have been forgotten or overlooked. We work together with our suppliers to protect these skills.

To care for this item, we recommend washing after every use to prevent staining. Use a mild detergent and do not leave to soak. This item is dishwasher safe. Handle with care to prevent chipping.
