Over time, the planter will oxidise further, blending into the landscape and becoming part of the scenery. Each piece begins as a flat sheet of metal, precisely cut to specific designs. These are then heated and hand-shaped to form the structure. Makers then expertly weld the parts together before adding a zinc finish to create a beautifully aged aesthetic. These careful processes highlight the artisan’s skill, ensuring each planter is a one-of-a-kind piece with its own unique character.

In time the finish will adapt to the environment and some additional oxidisation will take place. Finish may transfer to surface of patio or table, we suggest adding protection.
