Sea Salt & Moss Reed Diffuser – Aged Smoke

This reed diffuser is made in the UK by a family-run business, using a bespoke fragrance created exclusively for nkuku. Fresh, crisp notes of sea salt, warming sandalwood, and earthy moss combine to create a soothing aroma that evokes the comfort of home. The vessel is finished in one of Nkuku’s iconic textured styles and is designed to be reused as a small vase once the diffuser has finished.

This reed diffuser is hand-filled and packed in the UK, using a carefully blended mix of natural diffuser oils. The fragrance is developed exclusively for Nkuku, creating a scent that is completely unique. Infused with natural essential oils including cumin, palmarosa, patchouli, cardamom, carrot, and nutmeg, it brings depth and warmth to any space. The vessel is hand-blown from recycled glass by skilled makers in India, with each piece bearing the subtle marks of handcrafted design.

Once you have unpacked your diffuser, reeds and oil, carefully remove the cap and pour in to the glass diffuser, being careful not to spill any. In case of any spillages wipe clean immediately. The diffuser will contain 6 reeds. Place the reeds in to the diffuser and allows 24-36 hours for the scent to diffuse the room. Rotating the reeds ever 1-2 weeks boosts the scent diffusion. The more reeds you use the stronger the scent will be. Over time the reeds will become saturated with liquid so place the diffuser on a protective plate to ensure no liquid damages surfaces. Ensure the reeds do not touch painted or delicate materials as this may cause staining. The fragrance diffuser will last between 2-4 months, but the room temperature, exposure to direct sunlight and air currents can accelerate evaporation.

Reuse: Once your diffuser is finished, dispose of the reeds and any excess oil safely, wipe clean with a damp cloth to remove any residue and enjoy as a vase
