Shani Candlestick – Antique Brass

Crafted from molten aluminium poured into moulds, they feature beautifully textured, organic ball shapes along the body. The antique brass finish adds a timeless touch. This piece is made using traditional sandcast aluminium. The process involves preparing a mould from sand and heating the aluminium until it liquifies. The molten aluminium is then poured into the mould, and, on cooling, the cast aluminium piece is removed. Sandcast aluminium has low dimensional accuracy which results in a rough surface finish, with irregular organic patination often occurring. The piece is then treated with an antique brass finish.

To care for the item, we recommend washing with a mild dish soap and warm water to remove any excess wax after every use to prevent a build up. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as this may damage the finish. Please position the candle securely. This product will get hot in use. Keep out of reach of children. Wait until fully cooled before handling. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
